Presented by the London Craft Club
The london craft club prides itself on creating a friendly, fun place for you to easily try new crafts or pick up an old one, in london’s lovely venues. No fuss, no bother, you can rock up with just your lovely self and leave with an amazing finished piece you’ve made in just a couple of hours. They've got all the right kit, equipment and templates you could possibly need, so you can focus on enjoying the crafting and making.
Every one has their Christmas traditions - from a ratty old stocking you've had since you were little to a strange condiment that you would never, ever eat with your roast normally. As cheesy as it is, Christmas is a time to snuggle up with family and indulge in a bit of lovely soft focus nostalgia.
This year take a little time out to create a new festive tradition and make an heirloom Christmas decoration for the future. The London Craft Club's wonderful leather working teacher Dee Maxwell is leading a workshop where you can make a hand-crafted leather tree decoration, using lovely metallic leathers. Pick from their templates, and learn how to layer the leather up to form a design. Then stitch it together to form a 3D shape, add bells, beads and tassels to give it a personal touch, and take home a new Christmas tradition! You can go traditional with your colours, or use their gorgeous modern pastel metallics for something a little more current - the choice is yours.
