We want to give you the support you need in life, so starting with our finances, our wealth experts will lead you to financial confidence through our monthly round table discussions. These are for you as a Merit Club member only.
To our first event, we invite Molly O’Donnell from Fortress Wealth Partnership to facilitate the conversation around why it is important to invest and how to get started, by looking at the different asset classes available and how to diversify your income.
About Molly
I studied Law at Cardiff University before moving to London and taking a role in Consultancy where I was based at a large asset management firm. Following that I started studying for my exams and qualified as a financial adviser. Having started advising, I’ve never looked back!
At Fortress Wealth Partnership we help individuals (and businesses) to make the most of their money and achieve their financial goals. My aim is to build long-term relationships with my clients by taking the time to understand them, and their circumstances fully. I create a bespoke financial plan for each client. I specialise in advising clients of widely differing financial resources and of all ages and empowering them to become financially independent.
What to expect?
There is still a huge financial gap when it comes to women investing, so during this event we will discuss why women have typically been overlooked in financial advice, and why this needs to be addressed. The industry is complex and often confusing to many, so we will use this session to break down the jargon and answer any questions that come up in an informal environment. We will discuss why it is important to invest and how to get started, by looking at the different asset classes available and how to diversify your income.
No question is a silly question so come as a total novice or be an expert, we aim to have a very relaxed round table discussion while sipping on some delicious wine and nibbling on some canapes prepared for us by the lovely Pickled Hen Restaurant.
Doors will open at 6pm with the round table discussion starting at 6:30pm. We are planning an interactive event for you around this topic at a beautiful location, followed by plenty of chats and networking of course :)

We will be at the beautiful Pickled Hen, Marriot Hotel near Marble Arch

Timings: Doors open at 6:00pm, the discussion starts around 6:30pm for about an hour, then mingling and chats until 8:30pm

Investment: £10 for members including a glass of wine, nibbles, the discussion and plenty of chat & networking.
