George Osodi's Nigerian Monarchs series takes you into the inner kingdoms of Nigeria's royalty. Considered a major part of the country's history. The series consists of large formal portraits of each of the country's numerous and diverse tribes' monarchs, in full regalia.
What to expect?
Her first London exhibition, Hanan will be presenting pieces from three different bodies of work: her short film and photography series Jahangal, a swan song in her native Fulani herdsmen; and her latest body of work Mi Ati, a series of conceptual portraits that explore themes of protection, identity, family, privacy and the public gaze.
